Terms of Service

1. About PellLynx

PellLynx is an institutional financial-aid operations service that organizes Student and Enrollment records, FAFSA / ISIR revisions, costs, aid workflows, award notices, disbursements, and operational reporting. It supports authorized staff processes without promising a particular eligibility, regulatory, or financial result.

2. Acceptance and authority

By accessing PellLynx, you agree to these Terms and represent that you are authorized by the applicable District or customer organization to use the service. If you lack that authority, you may not access or use PellLynx.

3. Customer accounts and access

Credentials are individual and may not be shared. Customers manage their authorized users and assigned permissions. Users may access only information and functions they are authorized to use and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access to PellLynx.com and their organization.

4. Customer Data ownership

“Customer Data” means information, records, documents, configurations, and other content submitted to or generated for a customer through PellLynx.

The customer retains ownership and control of Customer Data. PellLynx.com does not acquire ownership of Customer Data. The customer grants PellLynx.com only the limited permission necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service and follow authorized customer instructions.

5. Permitted use of Customer Data

PellLynx.com may process Customer Data only to:

• provide requested service functionality;
• secure and maintain the service;
• support authorized users;
• create customer-requested outputs;
• prevent or investigate misuse or security incidents;
• follow authorized customer instructions; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

PellLynx.com does not sell Customer Data, use it for advertising, use it for unrelated profiling, or use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

6. Confidentiality

PellLynx.com treats Customer Data as confidential, limits administrative access to authorized personnel with a legitimate need, requires appropriate confidentiality from service providers, and prevents disclosure to other customers. Customer Data is disclosed only when directed by the customer, contractually permitted, or legally required.

7. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for having authority to provide information, maintaining accurate source records, managing users, selecting appropriate permissions, reviewing financial-aid decisions and outputs, maintaining required documentation, and determining the legal and regulatory obligations that apply to their programs.

8. Financial-aid and regulatory responsibility

PellLynx supports administrative workflows and does not provide legal or accounting advice. PellLynx.com is not a federal agency, and use of PellLynx does not itself establish eligibility or compliance. Authorized customer personnel remain responsible for approvals, submissions, corrections, and regulatory determinations.

9. Acceptable use

Users may not attempt unauthorized access, share credentials, circumvent controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, use the service unlawfully, attempt to access another customer, conduct security testing without written authorization, or extract data beyond authorized customer use.

10. Service availability and changes

PellLynx.com uses reasonable efforts to maintain service availability. Maintenance and service interruptions may occur, and functionality may be improved over time. Material service changes will not silently reduce a customer’s contracted data rights.

11. Third-party service providers

PellLynx.com may use infrastructure and service providers as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the service. Those providers are subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, and security obligations and may not use Customer Data for independent advertising.

12. Fees and subscriptions

Pricing, subscription terms, renewal, payment, and license scope are governed by the applicable order form or customer agreement.

13. Suspension

PellLynx.com may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use, material breach, expired or suspended service, or risks to customer or service integrity. PellLynx.com will use reasonable efforts to communicate when appropriate.

14. Termination, export, and deletion

Customers may request an export of available Customer Data; format and timing may be governed by the customer agreement. After service ends, customers may request deletion. PellLynx.com will delete active Customer Data according to the applicable agreement and approved retention process. Protected backup copies may remain temporarily and expire through the normal backup-retention schedule. Limited retention is permitted when legally required. Deleted data is not retained for unrelated use.

15. PellLynx intellectual property

PellLynx.com retains ownership of the software, source code, interface, documentation, brand, templates, and service design. This does not limit the customer’s ownership of Customer Data.

16. Feedback

PellLynx.com may use voluntary feedback to improve the service. Customer Data is not treated as feedback.

17. Disclaimers

PellLynx is provided subject to the applicable customer agreement. Operation may not always be uninterrupted or error-free. Outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of information entered and on appropriate customer review.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PellLynx.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. A signed customer agreement may contain controlling liability terms.

19. Changes to these Terms

The updated date appears on this page. PellLynx.com will communicate material changes through reasonable means. A signed customer agreement remains controlling where applicable.
